In True North's "Your Best Life Podcast," we've been on a roll, interviewing primarily Christians who share our biblical views. We've been wanting to branch out and talk with people of more diverse backgrounds and beliefs. So, when Lynnsey Robinson's administrative assistant reached out to us to have Lynnsey on our show, we were excited to talk.
Lynnsey brought the mysteriously ethereal concept of hypnotherapy down to earth with some surprisingly benign and almost boring descriptions, informing listeners that we all go into hypnotic states several times per day, and it's during those times that messages penetrate beyond our conscious to where they become more believable by our subconscious minds. (Which makes me realize that dozing off in church is actually the best way to listen to a sermon... But I digress.)
Pete didn't ask Lynnsey about her New Age practices, instead connecting with her on more common ground--and stretching only into the realm of hypnotherapy, which was far enough for us. And quite fascinating.
We hope you find the interview intriguing as well. You can listen to the interview on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or our YouTube channel.
Enjoy!
