Pete's Story

As a youth pastor and the director of Kidder Creek Camp, I (Pete) coached high school and college-aged individuals on a daily basis, offering them advice on everything from their career options to their dating lives to their spiritual direction. It was there that I found the seeds of what I discovered was my life calling. Coaching to help others live their best life.

Since retiring from full-time camping ministry, I received my life coaching certification through the John Maxwell Group, and have had the privilege of working alongside my wife Julie as we coach and teach individuals, couples and small groups in how to determine their life calling.​

Pete Morrill is a dynamic leader and, as both a youth pastor and camping director for Mt. Hermon's Kidder Creek Camp in the stunning natural beauty of Northern California for a combined 26 years, he offered hundreds of people coaching and training loosely inspired by Rick Warren's "S.H.A.P.E" training. He and Julie have since developed their "QUESTS" training to navigate finding your calling. (Rick Warren is the former pastor of Saddleback Church and author of many books, including bestseller, The Purpose-Driven Life.)

Pete's passion is challenging leaders to be change agents in the world. His success as the owner of a thriving Labrador retriever breeding and training business also gives him a platform for sharing wisdom principles related to giving, saving money, getting out of debt, and planning for the future. Pete continues to professionally guide whitewater rafting trips, hunting and fishing expeditions, and more. He especially enjoys traveling with his wife, Julie, to foreign lands.
