How Finding Your Calling Became Our Calling
Julie's Story
​
As a junior high and high school teacher, I (Julie) found immense joy in teaching, but an even greater joy in sitting down with small groups of students to highlight their strengths, boost their self-esteem, and guide them toward their full potential.
After retiring, I completed my life coaching certification to fulfill my true calling—coaching others. (New Life Coaching, Inc.) I feel most alive and fulfilled when I help others discover meaning and purpose in their lives, guiding them to realize and embrace their full potential. And I especially love working with Pete as a team in coaching, mentoring, and guiding others.
Pete's Story

As a college pastor and the director of Kidder Creek Camp, I (Pete) coached high school and college-aged individuals on a daily basis, offering them advice on everything from their career options to their dating lives to their spiritual direction. It was there that I found the seeds of what I discovered was my life calling. Coaching to help others live their best life.

Since retiring from full-time camping ministry, I received my life coaching certification through the John Maxwell Group and have had the privilege of working alongside my wife Julie as we coach and teach individuals, couples, and small groups in how to determine their life calling.​

Pete Morrill
Pete Morrill is a dynamic leader and, as both a youth pastor and camping director for Mt. Hermon's Kidder Creek Camp in the stunning natural beauty of Northern California for a combined 26 years, he offered hundreds of people coaching and training loosely inspired by Rick Warren's "S.H.A.P.E" training. He and Julie have since developed their "QUESTS" training to navigate finding your calling. (Rick Warren is the former pastor of Saddleback Church and author of many books, including bestseller, The Purpose-Driven Life.)
Pete's passion is challenging leaders to be change agents in the world. His success as the owner of a thriving Labrador retriever breeding and training business also gives him a platform for sharing wisdom principles related to giving, saving money, getting out of debt, and planning for the future. Pete continues to professionally guide whitewater rafting trips, hunting and fishing expeditions, and more. He especially enjoys traveling with his wife, Julie, to foreign lands. When it feels like your compass is broken, book a retreat with Pete. He, along with his wife, will graciously, yet directly assist you in finding clarity, purpose, and direction in your life.

Julie Morrill is a professional life coach, ministry leader/coordinator, and writer. She delights in asking questions that will compel you to think more deeply about yourself. Her clients testify that she listens carefully to you, inspires you to understand your unique design, and encourages you to stay on a path that is in line with your purpose. She's also crazy about her husband Pete and their marriage, and loves working together with him in their coaching organization--especially when it involves travel!

Why We Like Retirees
Time Talent & Treasure
We love people of all ages but, if you think about it, retirees are the number one age demographic for having the most time, talent (experience) and treasure (financial resources) for making the greatest impact on the world around them. BUT, while many have an inkling of what they want to do, most do not know their calling or how exactly to fulfill that calling in the last quarter of their lives.

Seniors are filled with wisdom of years of experience, and motivated to make a difference in the world. We enjoy helping all sorts of demographics, but this group is in our sweet spot--partially because we're right there with you ourselves (and, to be honest, we like making new friends our age)!

Note: Even though our main focus is on those who are about to retire or who are already retired, we coach younger folks too!
